MFWSS16 Runway Recap

Ciao Milano!

Yesterday was the final day of shows for Milan fashion week, and as always I’ve had my eye on the runways.

Here’s a recap of some of my favourite collections from the this past week:

Roberto Cavalli– An elaborate and bold collection full of prints, texture and lots of layers. Each look was more unexpected than the last, leaving specators on the edge of their seats the entire show.

Dolce and Gabbana– Bright colours and prints were the name of the game for D&G this coming season.Classic silhouettes took on a new found flair when paired with pops of orange and red and topped off with graphic appliques.

Alberta Ferretti– With a soft, warm colour palette and feathery designs to match, this collection left us with bohemian vibes for the rest of the night. Flowing dresses made from billowy fabrics and layered looks with sheer cut outs and peasant-esque skirts were finished off with perfectly messy braided hair styles, leaving the models looking like the epitome of bohemian beauty.

Et maintenant, Paris! (Bet you didn’t know I speak french, did you?)

Watch live with some champagne and a plate of croissants here.

Let me know your favourite looks from last week, and also your thoughts on PFW so far.
